Called in for Sunday lunch, two courses £8.95 was worth every penny, I had roast beef and it was delicious. Will definitely call here again on our next visit

Stopped in at this quaint little pub in Ayr. Atmosphere is great decor is just what I think a pub should be. The bartender knew how to pull a pint. Although we didn't have lunch the menu looked quite unique. I would loved to have tried the haggis nachos

Been here before, but not recently until last week, nothing has changed, not even the menu, but, if your in town doing a bit f shopping and you want decent food at a fair price then of course come here, by the looks and sounds of it they have their regulars and who could blame them, be it for price, value or the offer of portion size, an above average lunch in a lovely surrounding served by knowledgeable staff, would I come again? for sure, what's not to like?

Went into the restaurant half for lunch, after seeing the high Trip Advisor rating in their window. Old fashioned tea room style, but not particularly quaint. Staff very friendly and efficient and gave us the WiFi code without any problem. My starter of haggis nachos was very tasty, lots of haggis on top of tortilla chips with cheese and a peppercorn sauce. Husband's chicken gougons just looked as if they were out a freezer bag. Chose fish and chips from the lite menu, small portion but big enough for me. Again, fish and chips were from the freezer without a lot of flavour. The Guiness steak pie (well, casserole with slice of puff pastry put on top) was tasty - beef well cooked in a rich gravy. Two soft drinks and the bill came to just over £27.
