Stayed overnight here on 3/10 when attending the Todd/Beats wedding and have to say I could not fault any aspect of the day.
Food was good, staff were attentive so top marks so far.
The barman in the residents lounge was a credit to the hotel-serving slightly inebriated guests in the early hours is never easy(been there done that) and he handled it all with professionalism and good humour.
Room was good, clean with a comfortable bed.
Breakfast was buffet style-always a fan of that!
All in all a very enjoyable weekend and would not hesitate to recommend this hotel whether it is for a wedding or a golfing/leisure break.
Ps-if you are thinking of holding your wedding here book Solid Gold band from Perth.
Best wedding band I've ever heard!

I am glad that you had such a good time here at the wedding and thank you for your nice comments. I will also pass on your comments to the band. I look forward to welcoming you back at some time in the future.

My wife and I stayed at this lovely hotel recently on the occasion of a family wedding. The choice of venue was superb and we can honestly say we enjoyed the entire stay. From being greeted by the receptionist,, through the ceremony in the Rose Garden ,to the meal and evening entertainment ,everything was handled excellently. The evening meal was exceptionally nice and delivered most efficiently by the dining room staff.. There was more than enough space in this wonderful old building to either be in "the thick of it" or to curl up and relax in some quiet corner if that's what you wanted. Needless to say the breakfast was to the same high standard with attentive staff second guessing your slightest wish.. All in all a very pleasant but all to brief stay in the loveliest of settings and providing a lovely eagerly looked forward to break. I really would recommend this beautiful hotel to anybody, well worth the visit and very good value for money.

We stopped off here for one night to break our journey south. Staff were all really friendly, kind and helpful. Our room was lovely and very comfortable. New bathroom which was really nice with lots of Elemis products. Bedroom of an older design but spotlessly clean with fresh white bedding and thick quality towels. The room we had breakfast in was lovely with stunning views. Beautifully presented breakfast on an immaculately presented table with very attentive staff.
Lovely period hotel that we would definitely stay at again.

We were located in a lodge outwith the hotel itself and it was superb as we had our dog with us. The location of the hotel itself has stunning views. Food was very nice and service was excellent. There is also a beautiful golf course there.

Room tip: Rooms / lodges outwith the hotel are very quiet.

My husband and I had the pleasure of staying here again! We had an Itison voucher for the Chateaubriand meal with Prosecco and optional overnight stay. We paid extra for a starter of pigeon breast which was lovely. The Chateaubriand was carved at the table and was cooked to perfection! We paid the extra and stayed over in a clean, bright and lovely room. Breakfast was also very enjoyable. The atmosphere in the hotel is very calm but very professional. Thanks to all staff for a very enjoyable stay! Can't wait until March when we've booked in for a couple of days!!
