“Fantastic wee cottage!”

On arrival we had thought oh no it's small but this wee cottage is a tardis inside! As a family of four gran, mum, son (14) and daughter (1) we can highly recommend this cottage. Games room was ideal
For rainy nights entertainment (and kept our 14 year old happy) , bathroom especially was a great size, also very clean .... After a day's walking and driving was great to soak in the big tub or have a power shower! Loved the dinky sink in corner .... Let's face it , it done the job ... How big can your hands be lol. Made meals in the kitchen every night , for a family of four with children eating out can be expensive and awkward but taking our own groceries we managed just fine! Comfy and welcoming cottage, we slept well, enjoyed our stay and would gladly return , I may also add the price is fantastic which shocked me as most properties, caravans and lodges were almost twice the price with less amenities! Great work Neil and Valerie you should be proud of your wee Scottish cottage

“Cosy and nice cottage but totally unpractical bathroom”

Cosy and nice cottage. Everything is provided: bed sheets, towels etc.
Very difficult to put on the heating system.
Kitchen definitely needs an update.

Bathroom is too small and very unpracticale, no mirror!!!!! Sink it tiny, hardly enough to wash your hands, shaving and drying hair is impossible because of the tiny mini sink and lack of mirror. No shelves to put on toiletries. Bathroom needs an update/an eye for details. Bath takes alle the space in the room, a shower should be much better + a good size sink.

Everything was vercy clean and at our arrival we found a nice welcome word from the owners. Would recommend it something needs to be done for the bathroom.

My partner and I love Pitlochry and usually stay at the Moulin inn, but we wanted to bring our dog and family for a long weekend and saw 'my scottish cottage' on previous trips. We found it online through Holiday Lettings and luckily it was free on the dates we wanted. Neil and Val, the owners were very helpful and accommodating. The cottage is lovely and cosy, with everything you need, a home from home! Right next door to the moulin inn, which serves amazing food and a short walk down to Pitlochry for the shops and surrounded by beautiful scenery and walks. We will definitely book the cottage again, thank you Neil and Val!

We stayed here for two nights with a friend from Edinburgh and another couple from Belgium. The cottage is cosy and extremely nice. There was even a dram on arrival, and in fact a selection of beer in the fridge, though may have been left by other holiday makers. Extremely comfy, cozy and enjoyable...we felt very welcome and at home. We just loved it and will be back. Utterly delighted.

“Picturesque but small cottage”

On arrival, lovely location and very quaint looking cottage. Living room cosy but when we walked into the kitchen, what a huge disappointment. So small, no counter space, didn't notice on the description that there was no washing machine and generally not well equipped. Dining table had to be pulled out every time you want to use it and the bathroom was on the ground floor with sink no bigger than a very small en-suite sink was very disappointing. The double bedroom was adequate but the twin was very tight squeeze in between the beds. My parents found the very steep staircase tricky, albeit there were around 6 hand rails to help them manoeuvre. Bathroom being downstairs didn't help. Overall, very clean cute cottage but not ideal for anyone who isn't nimble or those who love to cook.
