We've not been to the Moulin since our 11 year old was a baby. Really enjoyed our visit there on Saturday. Atmosphere and food great, as we remembered it to be.

The building itself is very cosy and welcoming, lots of wood panelling and two real fires, great on a rainy day. The Moulin Ale really is not very good, i think there is a reason that almost no one else serves it. The food is average at best, my sisters chicken stuffed with haggis had been so overcooked it was like leather. I would go back again for the atmosphere but avoid the food and their beer

Staying in a nearby cottage this hotel was practically on our doorstep so perfectly positioned for evening visits. Service perfect food perfect atmosphere perfect bar prices at a good level for the area

We had lunch here and it was good pub food if slightly unadventurous. The bar was small and cosy and well worth the visit. The menu was extensive with lots of interesting choices. There was also a good range of beers including their own locally brewed beers.

Had a couple of very pleasant visits to the bar / restaurant during a weekend break in nearby lodges.
2 blazing log fires, 4 of their own real ales on tap (along with the usual standard draughts) and some tasty food .
Traditional décor (apart from the fairy lights strewn all over the lounge area which was a bit tacky).
All in all a welcoming & comfortable wee pub wi good beer abd plenty o spirits to chose from)
