We stayed for three nights as a little get away for my husband's birthday. It is a budget hotel but GREAT value for money. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Although the room was small, it was clean and had everything we needed. We really liked the fact that there was a microwave, fridge, kettle, and tea and coffee in the room...ALSO a welcome tray with Scottish "treats", with beer and wine included. Great location as well...very close to the shopping centre and Wetherspoons. Great stay and would certainly come back. Thank you.

We were a bit apprehensive when we arrived but we were surprised at how cosy the room was and we were delighted to be on ground floor with large window.Fridge microwave and TV in room plus own small toilet facilities. Great wee hamper with tasty bites and alcohol to welcome you .We were there two nights and it was very well organised for guests arriving later on when reception closed. We will defo be back as great value .The harbour is lovely with plenty of cafes and bars plus town centre and train on doorstep

This is a basic hotel, with basic rooms, but in a good location at the harbour. There are a few pubs and cafés close by as well as a large shopping centre, and the main shopping district is just a 10 min walk away. In short, nothing special.

This accommodation is more of a guest house than a modern idea of a hotel where someone cleans the room and brings fresh towels and makes the bed.
No breakfast provided.
No lounge area.
No E in hotel. E is for effort.
It is a tired place with a lot of ware and tear. The room we were in is nothing like the image provided.

Lower end accommodation. No toiletries provided so bring your own soap to shower and maybe toilet paper. We ran out of toilet paper. Staff is available during business hours so if you require something after business hours you need to phone the contact numbers on the front door. Mattresses are not for anyone who wants more than a day accommodation. Our floor was soft in places so you could actually bounce on it. Ward robe door hinge was broken.
Run away.
