“Boutique Chic!”
Reviewed 22 October 2013 for a stay in September 2013

Several years of choosing holiday accommodation in Edinburgh has taught me many lessons. I have stayed in the good, the bad, the indifferent! At last I have found an apartment that I would visit time after time.
The apartment, situated in fashionable St Stephen Street in Bohemian Stockbridge, was more than one could wish for. It positively shone with cleanliness, the decor was effortlessly chic and for chilly days central heating was available throughout at no extra charge.
The charming bedroom, with it's double doors leading out onto a small terrace and garden was a huge plus, as I was able to sit and enjoy a glass of wine outdoors in the sunshine. A comfortable bed and pillows ensured that I slept well and rose refreshed each morning.
There is a very pretty, well decorated and compact bathroom, with an excellent shower and plentiful hot water.
The open plan kitchen and sitting room was well furnished to a high degree and there is a large flat screen television, should you wish to relax after a day's sightseeing.
Little things count. The full size, fluffy bath sheets. A shelf of books should you wish to read. More than enough coat hangers in the wardrobes. Underfloor heating in the bathroom. WiFi access. These things make a simple holiday apartment into a home from home.
I would heartily recommend a stay in Stockbridge. It is brim-full of amazing restaurants, from simple pub food to fine dining, plentiful shops, supermarkets within easy reach and fashionable cafes. The Water of Leith is minutes away and a stroll along the walkway is a must. It makes for superb tranquility in the middle of a capital city. Don't forget the excitement of Stockbridge Market every Sunday!
The city centre, Princes Street and the attractions of the Royal mile are no more than a fifteen minute walk, or take the bus. The buses are every few minutes and are handy and inexpensive. A car is not essential to get around the city during your stay.
Huge thanks to owner David Moody who met me with the keys on my arrival. Nothing is too much trouble and he went above and beyond the call of duty to make my stay very special. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend number 92 and would visit again in an instant. (And shall do so!)
