I travelled with my wife, toddler and baby as well as my parents to Inverness for a weekend. Although the house is in Culloden outside of Inverness, it was only a few minutes drive and close to a main road. This made it ideally sited for visiting attractions such as Loch Ness or Culloden Battlefield. It was a very quiet and peaceful cul-de-sac.
The house itself is a good size with two double bedrooms upstairs and a single bedroom downstairs. Bathroom was downstairs as well, which might be of relevance to those with limited mobility. Kitchen was well equipped and owner was thoughtful enough to provide some tea and coffee - greatly appreciated after several hours driving. There's a dining table in the living room should you decide to do a full dinner whilst you're there.
Internet, TV, Freeview and DVD player were all in the house, along with some idiot proof instructions on how to use them all. If you have kids, these are basically necessities nowadays.
Must also commend the owner on the cleanliness - the place was absolutely spotless.
We all had a great time here at our holiday home which is very nice and homely. Staying over one weekend wasn't long enough, the holiday home is in a perfect quiet area in Cullonden.
