The lodge is located on the Reelig estate near the tall trees walk. There is a variety of wildlife right outside the window: red squirrels, badgers, pine martens and many birds. I ran most mornings, my sons took their bikes and we all enjoyed visits such as the Jacobite Caledonian cruise and our visit to see salmon leaping at Rogie Falls. This is our fourth visit and won't be our last.
Well equipped chalet, light, warm and comfortable. Lovely location, appears isolated and is certainly private but there are other houses nearby.
Directions supplied were easy to follow.
Nearby walk through reeling Glen is lovely and kept our dog very happy.
Would highly recommend this accommodation
The chalet is easy to get to from the main road, yet feels really hidden away and very peaceful, surrounded by trees. It is comfy and well-equipped with lots of natural light from the big windows. There are great woodland walks 2 minutes away by foot and lots nearby by car as well. We saw red squirrel and a pine marten right outside the window! Would definitely go back.
We enjoyed a short October break in a well equipped cabin in the woods. We were very fortunate with the weather and enjoyed the beautiful surroundings including forest walks, red squirrel watching on our picnic table besides the cabin and going dolphin spotting. Dan and Sarah were both friendly and helpful and made our stay very enjoyable.
