“Lovely B&B”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 19 April 2012

What a delightful B&B we came across in Inverness. Everything was top quality an rooms were very comfortable, cosy and clean. Breakfasts were delicious too. The owners were delightful, and Amy was very helpful. A five minute walk into the city - a great town Inverness - loved Rocpool Restaurant. Keep up the good work at your lovely B&B.

We got to Craigside after a long drive from Aberdeenshire. There was a spot to park our car so that was nice. Our twin room was very comfortable and the bathroom was huge! You could probably fit a person in there with a sleeping bag if your roommate snores. Craigside is only a short walk down to the city center and there are many shops and restaurants in the area for you to enjoy. Breakfast was a real treat and the dining room is a nice environment to be in. Ewan and Amy were very nice to us and it was cool to read about their backgrounds. My dad kept saying how much he would have liked to have stayed longer and I agreed with him 100%. Should we ever go back to Inverness, this would be the first place I would check.

Room Tip: We stayed in the twin room, it was big enough to fit a 3rd person with a sleeping bag who draws the...

If you ever wish to visit The capital of the highlands then please look no further than the Craigside lodge Guesthouse! we were met at the door by Ewan on our arrival a very nice he took time to get to know you, we found out later he is an British Olympian in Curling never mind a World Champion, We were given a lovely room with a amazing view of Inverness, truly lovely, free WiFi is a nice touch. We had a really amazing night, our room was nice and quite. At breakfast we met Amy, Ewans wife who was very nice. Brekkie was magic :) Bacon is to die for and black pudding award winning..The dinning room is well lit and really nicely laid out, there's even a lounge area downstairs guest can use, very nice...With out doubt my wife Angie and I will book here again, when we visit Inverness which could be a few times since our son is stationed here with 3scots ...

So all said and done this place is a No BRAINER!!

Room Tip: if at the evening like us you need a meal, try the brewyers fayre great food also in the town always...

We stayed at Craigside Lodge for the one night on a tour of Scotland & have since travelled most of the UK & Europe. Amy was the most awesome person we met on our entire trip in terms of her general attitude & helpful nature. Nothing was an issue & she cooked an amazing brekkie. The rooms were very neat, clean & spacious enough for our short stay. I know it is their business to do this, but trust me, people like Amy you just dont meet everyday. Highly recommended
