Great weekend at Creag Mhor. Everything you could possibly want in a holiday let and very well located for many outdoor and social activities.

Stayed for 3 nights during Christmas, all four of us had a Fantastic time! Snow Making it extra special! On arrival the cottage was lovely & warm, very cosy & very clean. Added bonus was the Christmas tree which was waiting for us, such a nice touch. Kitchen Very well equipped with everything you need. Very modern cottage, all rooms are Lovely. Bathroom actually is quite big, separate Bath & shower. Enclosed Garden which my dog loved running about in the snow. Lovely views of the snowy mountains from the back garden. In a lovely Location. Close to local shops & Takeaways. Aviemore town is a few minutes drive away, has a good Tesco also lots of great cafe's & Lovely pubs. Couldn't Fault this lovely cottage, always lovely & warm. Looking forward to staying here again for many of years to come.

Creag Mhor is located in a quiet, modern residential estate within a 2-3 minute drive of Aviemore town centre. The house itself is comfortable and well-equipped. A huge plus point for us was the large grassy garden at the rear of the house. Our 2-year old spent many happy hours tiring himself out in there and we felt safe leaving him to his own devices as there was a gate to stop him making a break for freedom. The permanent BBQ with seating area was a lovely touch and we managed to make good use of it in the late September sunshine. The lockable shed was also very handy for storing mountain bikes/baby buggies/etc. We travelled with 2 children - a two year old and a 5 month old and found the house to be just the right size for our needs. I'm so glad we chose this property - we had a fantastic break and were heartbroken on the day of our departure. Hope to return sooner rather than later.

Very comfortable cottage with modern décor and everything you would need for your stay. Good location without being too close to the busy centre of town. Perfect for getting away from the madding crowd!

“Great value for money”

for the price we paid, this was a great 5 day stay. excellent quiet location- not far from everything you need. very handy tesco express 5 minute drive away as well as a few shops just around the corner for essentials. found the lounge area surprisingly spacious and comfortable. Only slight grumbles are limited hot water for bath/washing up, although there is an always hot electric shower, and slightly hard beds.
