I've usually stay at another budget hotel when visiting Glasgow, but had heard good things about this hotel.
Booked a last minute stay-over with a friend after winning tickets to a show. Needed a hotel with parking nearby and this one offered a good deal overall.
The car park was about 3 or 4 mins walk from the hotel, a secure NCP which was easy to find and could only be accessed by scanning your parking ticket. (Felt safe using it)
Hotel is a little off the beaten track, so thankfully not much street noise, also convenient for local shops and bars. Reception was on 1st floor, lifts were clean and working well on our visit.
Check in was easy (as it was our first visit and had a few questions, I didnt want to do online check in but will in the future) and all staff friendly. We were allocated a room on the 6th floor, and as we book direct had our welcome goodies waiting.
The room was a bit small, but was adequate for our 1 night stay. Loved the local themed decor. Was very impressed with the bathroom which had nice smelling soap/shower gel available too. Bed a little firmer than I like normally, but we both slept well.
Only down point was a little bit of inside noise. Firstly the air-con decided to switch on itself during the night, but easy enough to quickly turn...I've usually stay at another budget hotel when visiting Glasgow, but had heard good things about this hotel.

Would use again!More
