Just had a kleftiko takeaway. it was terrible. This place has never been the same form moving across the road to a new upmarket location. The lamb was dry with no gravy, the salad looked and tasted as if it was made yesterday and the roast potatoes were rock hard.Waste of money,I dont know what has happened to this wee gem but bring back the old lady who obviously took pride in the small rest.

My 2nd visit to the new place , 1st visit was when it just opened wasnt impressed then 45 mins to wait for main course. This time back to the old restaurant , good food . Delicious dolmades , succulent lamb , friend has beef stew with pastry was yummy.Sweets - 1/2 and 1/2 greek sweets would have preferred no sweet sauce on them .Friend has icecream sundae - large portion it was .All in all much better.

My husband and ate here alot many years ago and we thought we would take a wee trip down memory lane...we were not disappointed! The venue may have changed to across the road but the food is still wonderful! The moussaka and the fab roast potatoes were as good if not better than before....the souvlaki was also delicious....service was lovely, attentive but not intrusive, and our memories of 35 yrs ago were certainly awakened...we actually got engaged, just the two of us, in the old restaurant in 1981.....the night before our party!!! Still felt romantic to go back...thank you for a lovely evening...then and now!! Wonderful!

We dined on the pre-theatre menu which had some great choices. Would love to try the a la carte menu next time. Trio of greek dips with pita and falafel starters were tasty and the chicken sis kebab and beef stew were both full of flavour. Portions were huge and couldn't be finished! Definitely worth another trip.
