Being a Hard Rock Café enthusiast, a trip to Glasgow would not be complete without a visit here. Originally, my mother, brother and I were going to visit for dinner, but come lunchtime we couldn’t wait any longer.
Our host for the day was Ross who seated us in the lower area of the venue. Straight away our server Bo came over to take our drink orders. Our choices of 7 Up and water were brought to us instantaneously. At this time we were ready to order our meals which comprised of a ‘Guinness Bacon Cheeseburger’, a ‘Hickory Barbecue Bacon Cheeseburger’ and a ‘Cauliflower burger’. The short twenty minute wait for our food to be served gave us time to marvel at the beauty of the café and its awesome memorabilia. Each person enjoyed their respective burger – they were very filling.
Next was a visit to the ‘Rock Shop’ where I purchased a number of pins. The delightful staff member Radhika explained the meaning behind some of the pins and their designers.
We enjoyed our time in the Café so much we returned again the next evening for drinks. However, it was very busy so we decided to return to the Rock Shop to have another look. Here we met Megan whose was working. I mentioned that I was a pin trader and we conducted some awesome trades off her lanyard. She then went on to give me the pins out of her plastic case as traders as she didn’t really need them. This was so kind of her.
I highly recommend the HRC Glasgow for its tasty, filling meals and the hospitality provided by the awesome staff.
