Having stayed at Apex hotels elsewhere I decided to stay here. The location is excellent no more than 5 minutes walk to Buchanan Galleries, Sauchiehall Street etc. Car park next to hotel and you get validated parking at hotel £9 got 24 hours if you ask at reception at check out.
My mum and I had a deluxe twin room. It was spacious, clean with very comfy beds. The bathroom was modern and bright with a huge walk in shower.
Nice seating area with sofa and coffee table plus a big desk with mirror and light. Lots of plug sockets which is great for straighteners, phone chargers etc.
We didn't eat at the hotel so can't comment on food but the bar and restaurant did look lovely and clean.
Check in and out was quick and efficient only slight issue was I struggled to hear the lovely receptionist because the large perspex screens made the sound very muffled. I understand why they are there but I did feel a bit rude and silly asking her to repeat everything.
Lovely touch by hotel was to leave a birthday card and some Scottish tablet in the room for my mums birthday which was an unexpected lovely touch. I will definitely return to this hotel and will recommend to othersMore
