Never experienced bad hotel with single glazing so a lot of noise from the street, 1 lamp at the door and for the rest no lighting, not even on bed. A good bed though. Hygiene is not ok except for the room. In the bathroom it stinks after the drain. Breakfast every day moderate and no variation. In short, bad choice. Due to the Climate COP was the pice more than exegerated

This hotel is situated in Argyle St.5mins walk from Central Station and is also within walking distance of all city centre amenities. Our twin room was not large but adequate. Large tv screen, tea and coffee making and comfortable beds with good duvets were superb. Beds are a tad high for elderly folks. Breakfast is served in 1st floor dining area. Staff are attentive and helpful, cleanliness and covid regulations are applied
Choice of buffet breakfast items is amazing. Full breakfast with tea coffee,juice ,toast, cereals, fruit etc. All good quality. A great hotel at a great price recommend to anyone. It has everything.
I was very wary as it was not expensive but I found this to be a great Hotel. Room 221 was very big. It has super comfy beds. Good variety of choice for Breakfast. Very central location 2mins from Central station. I found staff to be very friendly. There is building work being done across the road but this in no way affected us. Definitely recommend.
An average, perfectly acceptable, hotel for a night’s stay in central Glasgow. A good location for the city centre, railway stations, and bus station (a 15-minute walk).
The decor is rather faded and, in places, in need of attention. No plug for the sink, no cover on the shower control (so it was guess-work on my part).
The breakfast was good, though some things were warm rather than hot, no vegetarian alternatives to the bacon and meat sausages (a pity).
The staff, especially those on the desk, were friendly and helpful.
So, an average hotel, though I would use it again.
Stayed here for one night in October- check in was good- room was spacious with a comfortable bed and a good if a bit grubby shower.
Building works are going on outside but you can’t blame the hotel for the noise. Breakfast was a help yourself affair with choices of fruit, cereals and hot cooked sausages, bacon & eggs etc.
Despite having face mask wearing signs all over the hotel- only about half the guests chose to wear one - which was unchallenged by hotel staff.
Overall good value hotel if you looking for a cheap stay in Glasgow.
The location of the hotel is perfect: it's just a minute's walk from Glasgow Central, and 15 minute walk from the city centre. The staff were brilliant, the size of the room was fab, the breakfast was nice, and the COVID measures were good, too. However the decor, albeit nice, was a bit dated, and on my last full day there it had rained rather hard, and my room, which was on the second floor, has had a leaking ceiling (that was the only time there was a leak that has stopped too soon after the rain). Upon letting the receptionist know about it, I've been moved, but been told by pretty much a throw away comment that the maintanence knew about it (then why put me in that room? The incident does make a good story to tell afterwards, though!)
