“Good spot - would use again”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 17 August 2012

Stopped overnight on way to the highlands
Easy to find off Jcn 18 on main road to the West the M8
We were on the 10th floor and had a fantastic view of Glasgow west and the end of the Campsie Fells (hills)
No noise as we were high up and had air con but hotel was kept too warm. It hit you as you left the room or came in from outside - what a waste of heating/money
Hotel very handy for Sauchiehall street with lots of restaurants and bars
Excellent breakfast for £8.25 a head - very helpful reception and breakfast staff
Rejoin the motorway M8 and head west for Erskine bridge and you are very soon on the quiet roads to the Ayrshire coast or to Trossachs or Loch Lomond or to Helensburgh and the west coast

Room Tip: Higher floors and room facing west eg 1018

Our room was spotless & so was the bathroom but the bathroom was quite small but there was still space for all my toilletries. The staff where really really helpful & friendly and the breakfast was really really good & there were lots of different foods to choose from. Would definatley stay here again!

Our room smelt of smoke and it was claustrophobic with a window that doesn't open. I have stayed in much nicer Premier Inns and the public areas also felt cramped. The staff were very nice and helpful and the food was very good indeed and good value on a meal deal.

Right Next to M8. Can be fumey at times! Went to Loch Lomond Shores which is quite near. We were on Floor 6. No Fumes there. This is, by far, the BEST HOTEL IN GLASGOW. Near KelvinGrove Art Gallery. When we went there was Maintenence.

Room Tip: Higher floors (5-9) Less fumey.

Use this particular Premier Inn on may occasions just for a wee city jaunt. Value for money is superb and often has loads of deals. Staff friendly and terrific family breakfast deal - For every adult 2 children eat FREE. Breakfast is buffet style / eat as much as you like - loads of choice. Rooms clean and serviced daily unless you don't want disturbed. Family rooms great size for this budget hotel. Well done !!!!
