The hotel is nice the rooms are big and clean and the WiFi is good. It is possible to go to the city centre by feet. The environment of the hotel is very nice. The parking spot is a little bit small and the breakfast is okay but could be better. But in the end I would recommend everybody to stay here!

stayed here for a concert, had a single room nice size, clean, comfy bed, good breakfast staff very nice and friendly, just a short walk to subway, good shops and cafes takeaways all a short walk, as its an old Victorian building there is no lift, stairs are a bit steep so if booking ask for a room on first floor if you have difficulty with stairs.I would stay here again

Everyone who works here was lovely and helpful. That's the best I can say about this place. It's as clean as you can get an old place that sorely needs updating. The beds seem like something from another era that you might find in your grandma's spare bedroom - very uncomfortable, they also short-sheet the bed and you have to untuck the comforter to get it to reach you. It's just odd. Our pillowcases had holes in the them. Everything seemed years old. We stayed there twice on the way to and from the Isle of Mull and though we got different rooms, they were similar beds and old sheets. My relatives got the same room both times and they complained about no hot water. It did take FOREVER to get hot both at night and morning. I never ran out in the shower but my husband did. My aunt never got a warm shower she said. But their twin room was huge and much more spacious than our double, so was their bathroom. Wifi barely worked and though the staff worked very hard over breakfast, the only really good thing were the eggs. Really basic and limited choices. I second/third how to get there, it's awkward and stairs for days if you're on the 2nd floor. There have to be better places.

Friendly staff, nice enough rooms. No lift mind so be careful of that if you have a problem with stairs.

As many have said, the breakfast meat is indeed terrible. Disappointing but not the end of the world, the eggs were good at least!

Nice, tidy room, not so modern however for the price we were impressed. It wasn't so easy to find however, ended up up an alley but found it within 5 minutes of directions.
Breakfast in the morning too, not so great but cannot complain as it was free! Would defo visit again if purpose of the trip was the same!
