We stayed at the City Apartments associated with the Albion Hotel for a week. The staff were very gracious --- especially Marlene. We had a 3 bed apartment that was roomy and clean .It was a large studio with sofa, chair, dining table and small, well equipped kitchen area. The website photo is accurate. It was a ground floor unit at the front of the building, but is on a dead end road so there is little noise. The beds were comfortable, and the small bathroom had only a shower but was clean with good water pressure and hot water.
Convenient location 1 block from Kelvinbridge tube station, and only 3 stops to the center of Glasgow. We walked downtown twice --- it is only a 30 minute walk. Apartment is convenient to University of Glasgow and the Kelvingrove Art Museum, and near many shops and restaurants. Recommend Felix and Oscars for coffee or breakfast, and the Paradise for Persian food.More
