Stayed in a executive room.
Comfee bed and great view. I think the lounge used to be on the top floor but is no more which is a shame
However the room is tired and Poor lighting.
Better than normal Hilton brekkie but no haggis.

Food was about right for the price. A little bland and uninteresting perhaps.

Wouldn't really choose to eat here but decent sized portions.

Staff were very nice and service excellent although it wasn't busy at the time.

Nice staff and opulent surroundings to offset the high prices. However no matter if it is a 5 or 2 star joint basically soup should always arrive hot so points lost. Everything else was great. The soups were changed with fresh bowls not just micro waved which was a nice touch. This time piping hot. Next time hope to get it right first time.

Room Tip: High floors get best view

Great Location and area. Walking distance to the shopping, restaurant and the train stations. Staff are wonderful, We always stay here when we come and visit. Take the Ex Lounge package well worth it especially at night with the free drinks and snacks. Breakfast should change up a bit, It was the same old every day, and we stayed for 7 nights.

We stayed as a family here for a week and it was an excellent base for our visit to the city. Although it feels like a business hotel it is actually very family friendly. Our children enjoyed the excellent breakfast buffet, the large pool in the basement and the kids menu in the ground floor bar. The rooms were a decent size and the views were spectacular in all directions.

The location is good and it is possible to walk to both the city centre and the west end, as well as riverside attractions such as the science centre. The team at the hotel were also very helpful during our stay.

Overall, an excellent hotel and would definitely recommend.
