Staying here has been a complete nightmare. We paid £273 for two nights, staying at room 552. When we went to bed, we discovered the linens were filthy (hair and other traces from the previous traveller). I had already showered and wrapped up in a bath towel and called the front desk to ask for a change of sheets. However, we were told that the staff was out of working hours and we have to go to the depot to get a new sheet and change it by ourselves.
We then changed our clothes and went downstairs to argue, and eventually, the manager came to change it for us.
In addition, when we checked in, the hotel was holding another £273 as a deposit. When we checked out, we confirmed with the reception if the deposit had been released. However, I was still charged a few days later. I had to call the hotel to request a refund.
Furthermore, there is only one lift working in the hotel and there is a queue to get upstairs.More
