Description: The Living Room is something of a magnet for Glasgow's young professionals. Bang in the middle of the city's business district, its relaxed vibe, good food and friendly service are a hit with office workers during the day and party people by night. In the atmospheric AA rosette-awarded restaurant you can dine on a range of affordable hit dishes such as the crispy duck spring rolls, sea bass fillet a Spanish sausage stew and some of the best steaks in Glasgow. Drinks are as much of an attraction as the food - our extensive cocktail list is updated frequently but if there's something in particular you fancy just ask our bartenders for your favourites!

“Love it”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 20 February 2012

Been here many times and only just got around to writing a review.

This is a gorgeous place to dine and/or have a few drinks at the beautiful bar.

Menu is always varied and has a choice to cater to all tastes. A little pricey but you get what you pay for.

Wait staff have excellent service skills and really know their stuff when it comes to the menu and wines.

Will definately be back!

“Charming and classy”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 19 February 2012

My boyfriend and I came here for dinner and drinkson Friday night, Waiter was very polite and helpful, food was delicious and the strawberry daquiris were lovely! (make sure you ask for it not to be frozen) the doorman was particuarly helpful, calling a taxi for us to return to our hotel in the pouring rain. One last thing, the lady playing piano wow what a beautiful voice! I could have happily sat there all night with my daquiris and listened to her. Will def be back!

“Good Saturday night out”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 15 February 2012

Great cocktail bar, with live piano entertainment, extensive cocktail list to get to grips with before the meal. Spoilt a little bit by the table being delayed for 40 minutes due to a large group dilly dallying and holding the table up. Frantically busy and staff use the narrow aisles like runways, so it was exactly cosy and intimate. However saying that had a lovely meal, more money than I would normally pay for the type of fare offered but good entertainment for a Saturday night out.

“Very nice city centre restaurant”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 14 February 2012

I had often heard good things about the Living Room and so when I seen they were advertising 50% off main meals in January I decided to pay it a visit and see for myself.

We visited for lunch and found a good selection on the menu. I had eggs benedict and my partner had a club sandwich. Both were very enjoyable. The club sandwich was plentiful, however having ordered brown bread it came made with white bread. Just a small mistake but if the waitress is going to bother to ask which bread you would like you would expect to be given what you request. Not a big deal however as the meal was still enjoyed.

I really liked the layout of the restaurant and was a fan of booths as opposed to tables. I don't like sitting close to fellow diners so the booths give a little privacy.

All in all an enjoyable meal in pleasant surroundings, I would return.
