The accommodation over 2 floors was bright, comfortable and clean. The pre visit information and chat with owner Angus was really useful. We were met by Chris who showed us round the house and how everything worked. Our 4 couples soon felt right at home. Great location for walking to all the sights, restaurants and bars. Highly recommend and we hope to return.
This apartment is quite simply fantastic.
It is a great central location on a spacious elegant street. On a weekend parking is possible outside the apartment.
The apartment is very spacious, and is decorated and furnished to a very high standard, many personal touches make it feel a real home from home. There is the benefit of a rear garden, to have a facility like this in the city centre is just brilliant and so peaceful.
The owner Angus is excellent at communicating and will try to accommodate any reasonable request, his local manager Angie again is friendly and welcoming, between them they offer a service that is second to non.
Overall I cannot stress enough just how perfect this place is. Thank you.
We stayed here with my parents and sister with her family... 3 couples and two teenage girls for a total of 8 people. The apartment has a ton of space with bedrooms and sitting rooms laid out so that we didn’t feel on top of each other at all. There is a bus a block away that takes you up the hill to the sights. With restaurants and grocery stores with blocks as well, the location was excellent and convenient. The price is really fair compared to other rentals of this size and location.
We stayed as 4 couples for a birthday celebration over 3 nights. Excellent flat, roomy and clean, also quiet. Plenty shops and bars close by. Easy access to the sights of Edinburgh. Recommend the Urban Angel for breakfast, 5 minute walk. Then, if the weather is good, walk it off up Arthur's Seat! Angus had no problem to let us stay the final day as there were no incoming tenants and our train was later in the afternoon. As well one of our party turned up early but the concierge was cleaning and let them have a key. Basically very flexible. Strongly recommend the apartment for others.
The first thing that strikes you when you arrive is how nice Heriot Row is in general. A really nice location just a couple of streets back from the hustle and bustle of central Edinburgh.
The apartment is clean, spacious and well laid out. We were here as four couples celebrating my parents' 30th wedding anniversary and after our flight was delayed by 3 hours it was nice to arrive to tranquility and a welcome basket!
There are some lovely period features but all the fixtures and fittings that you want to be modern (i.e. the heating) are.
Communication from the hosts was very clear throughout. Very hard to find fault with anything.
If it's your first time in Edinburgh I would recommend walking in the opposite direction to the town centre and visiting the royal botanic gardens.
All in all very difficult to find a fault. Thank you Angus and Kirsty for a wonderful stay.
