This place was located next to my hotel and it was opened late, so I stopped in. Nothing too remarkable about it - nothing different from anything in the states. Loud, dark with a heavy sports bar atmosphere ... but, the food was decent, the service was good and I left happy. The wings were excellent as was the bruschetta. Not authentic Scotland, but ... hey, sometimes you just get hungry late at night. Great place after a night of pubbing.

We visited here last night at around 6pm, was only a few tables full, which were all cramped together and they had us all seated table after table, even though the restaurant is rather big, the staff seemed to not use this space and we was placed to a table to the back of the restaurant next to some large windows, us and the customers at either side of our table all had coats on still, our waitress did question if we were cold and after saying yes we are, she said she would turn the heating on, but that definitely did not happen and I doubt she even has the control to do such a thing. However, she was friendly and helpful regarding the food choices, apart from her suggestion of choosing the Asian slaw instead of the apple slaw but it was far too spicy and neither of us ate it, and were offered no refund/replacement for this even though we were persuaded by her. The starters were the best part of the meal but still only 'ok': mozzarella dippers, chicken wings and nachos. The mains, which may I say we're served to us by another waitress, literally a second after our starters had been taken away by another waitress, it was quite clear that they had been sat there for a while, waiting to be distributed to our table: veg pasta bake, steak, shrimp and chicken. The pasta dish was extremely dry and tasteless and the garlic ciabatta was nothing special, my partner chose his meal by the image on the menu of it, however it looked very different from that image, much smaller but he did say what was on the plate was tasty. This isn't our first TGI visit, hence why we chose the restaurant whilst being in Edinburgh, however I wouldn't go back to this specific restaurant here and unfortunately, if anything it has made us question our decision of visiting the establishment ever again

Decided to dine here as they had a gluten free menu.
We were shown to a table right at the window, which was lovely apart from the barrier being broken which could have been dangerous for young children.
Fizzy drinks were at table very quick but 1 cocktail and 1 moctail seemed to take forever.
Everyone's meals were fine apart from mine, gluten free roll was rock solid, couldn't even get the knife through it, completely gutted as I had been longing for a few weeks on a good burger.
Totally disappointed.

You know what you get when you go into TGIs and this was no different. Nicely served by Isla G. Good burgers and a good atmosphere.
