“Tweeddale Court had everything we hoped for and more”

We had a wonderful stay at Tweeddale Court. The flat exceeded our expectations in every way. It was bright, spacious and spotlessly clean. It captured the charm and character of Old Town, but it also had all of the modern amenities. The bathroom was large by UK standards. The beds were very comfortable (including the sofa bed in the living room, which received two thumbs up from our teenager, who is a veteran of sofa beds on our travels). The balcony overlooking the historic courtyard was our favorite spot for morning coffee and afternoon tea. The flat's location on the Royal Mile was very convenient, and the double-paned windows and heavy drapes kept out any noise or light at night, making for restful sleep. We loved the views, including the glimpse of the Firth of Forth at the far end of the Royal Mile. Kate, the owner, was terrific to deal with. She was very responsive and answered all of our questions promptly. She provided useful information about the neighborhood and Edinburgh in general, and the key pickup and drop-off were a breeze.

This is a perfect spot for families with one or two children. We would note, however, that the flat is on the second floor, and access is via a stone spiral staircase, so this might not be a good fit for people with limited mobility. We loved our time at Tweeddale Court, and can't wait to come back. We highly recommend this property.

“Fantastic stay, can't wait to return!”

We have just arrived back from our stay at tweeddale court and can't wait to return to Edinburgh. Before arriving we were sent instructions which were very easy to read and we found the apartment no problem. Kate was waiting for us on arrival and explained everything in full. The location of the apartment is perfect, right on the royal mile every attraction is in easy walking distance and if you do need a taxi there is a rink just up the road, less than a minue walk away. The apartment was very clean and spacious with a well equipped kitchen and large bathroom. I would not hesitate to recommend tweeddale court and will definately be returning!

“A gem on the royal mile!”

We've had a lovely holiday in Edinburgh. Tweeddale Court is the perfect flat to explore what this enchanting city offers. The flat is beautifully appointed and full of charming Scottish character. We enjoyed many warm evenings in relaxing, and I particularly enjoyed cooking in the perfectly proportioned and well equipped kitchen. With the Royal Mile on our doorstep and Princes Street a 7 minute walk we always found plenty to do. We certainly hope to return soon.
