I stayed here before flying out of Edinburgh Airport. Train and tram stations are right outside the hotel. Tram service can take you straight to the airport. Free parking for those with cars. Hotel is very clean and tidy. Staff are very helpful. Hotel restaurant is nice, you can even ask them to wrap up the food and you can take it to your room.

Dear x_kaz_x,

Thank you for taking the time to review your recent stay with us at Premier Inn Edinburgh Park (The Gyle).

Its great to hear that you were able to make use of the Trams in Edinburgh during your visit, it is so convenient for travelling to and from the Airport. The tram also continues into Edinburgh City Centre and runs approximately every 8-12 minutes, making our hotel the ideal base for exploring the city.

I am so pleased that you found our team to be helpful and that they were able to wrap your food up for you to enjoy in your room. They all try their hardest to help each and every guest as much as possible.

Yours Sincerely,

William Crow

This hotel is in a great position if you are wanting to visits Edinburgh city. It's just off the Edinburgh bypass and there is a train and tram station just outside the hotel which is very easy to use. When visiting the city we got a return ticket to Edinburgh Waverley for only £3. Although the station is close you can't hear it in the hotel. The hotel itself is nice and modern, the staff were lovely and the restaurant was good. I would say the restaurant prices are a little expensive for what you get but the food was nice.

Dear StevenAnderson111,

Thank you for taking the time to review your recent stay with us at Premier Inn Edinburgh Park (The Gyle).

It is wonderful to hear that you found our location to be great. We are so easily accessible via the M8 and Edinburgh City Bypass, as well as via public transport. As you say the trains run from our door to Edinburgh City Centre fairly frequently and cost only £3 for an off-peak return ticket, which is great value for money.

I am so delighted that you found our team to be lovely and that our hotel was nice and modern. The team work so hard to ensure our guests feel welcome and take great pride in their work here, so I know they will be as equally delighted as me to hear your comments.

Thank you again for your review and we hope to welcome you again soon.

Yours Sincerely,

I stayed at this hotel from the 30th April until the 5th may. Very easy to get to from airport, just a tram ride away for £5. The hotel is very clean and we had someone there to help us check in, unfortunately that was the last we saw of any staff, there was never anybody at reception and we had to ask for tea and coffee to be put in the room. When checking out we had to leave keys on desk as again there was nobody around. We didn't eat here but when we went to the bar one day to get a drink we had to wait 20 minutes before somebody acknowledged us. The tram cost £1.50 for a single to get to town or £4 for unlimited travel on trams and buses. Definitely worth doing! There is a tesco and other various shops across the road which comes in handy! Would stay here again though

Dear Robynn05,

Thank you for taking the time to review your recent stay with us at Premier Inn Edinburgh Park (The Gyle).

I am very pleased to know how easy you found travelling to us from the airport, the tram is a fantastic service. The tram also allows for easy access to and from the City Centre running every 8-12 minutes, and priced at only £4 for an unlimited day ticket, it offers great value for money.

I am very sorry to hear that there was not a member of our team at reception as various points throughout your stay. This is very unusual as our reception is manned 24 hours a day. I am also very sorry that you had a lengthy wait at the bar, this is totally out with our normal service and I apologise for this.

Thank you again for your review and we hope to welcome you again.

We stayed here (2 adults & 2 children 6yrs & 1 yrs) and, after negotiating the Edinburgh bypass!, received a very warm welcome and a lovely room with castle view (in far distance!) The hotel is WAAAYYYY under-rated in terms of its handiness to the city centre thanks to the tram and railway stop (just 10 yards away). Huge free hotel car-park is a massive bonus, and then just use a day rider ticket for trams & buses into the city centre at just £4 per adult £1.50 per child. The zoo is 10 minute drive, past a McDonalds and various food outlets. 20 yards walking from hotel is a huge out-of-town retail park including KFC & Tesco & Toys-r-us. The hotel restaurant is very very busy in an evening, be sure to book. Theres a Costa Coffee attached to hotel. The hotel rooms are the usual Premier Inn - bright, clean, large enough for a family of 4 with a buggy! It was really nice to leave the hustle-bustle of the city in the evening and return to a calm hotel with the kids, knowing its just a 10 min tram ride back in the following day. Will definitely book here again!

Room Tip: Ask for a castle view
