Spent 4 nights here to coincide with The Rolling Stones gig at Murrayfield. It’s a great flat in a really central location within walking distance of everything. Around the corner from Princes Street and a pleasant walk to the old town. Was a very busy Edinburgh but a quiet and comfortable place to stay. Also a bonus for us as we travelled by train is its walking distance to the train station and for the gig very close to the tram that takes you to Murrayfield. Would definitely stay here again if we visit Edinburgh in the future.
Very central with easy reach to the majority of Edinburgh sites, museums and restaurants. Also super easy access from the airport by tram.
The flat is well appointed although the sofa may require replacement. The bed is excellent if you like it firm as I do.
Although very central, it is quiet.
So easy to get everywhere walking. Apartment was sparkling, simply but tastefully decorated. Everything needed was provided and the owner met us in the middle of a Thursday to welcome us and give us a tour of all the need-to-knows. She was very helpful with suggestions. Our only downer was that we couldn't stay longer. I hope to return to Scotland and would definitely hope to stay here again.
I recently stayed in this lovely apartment for the third time and on this occasion I brought my husband with me!
Being only a few minutes walk from Princes Street, the apartment is perfectly situated for anything one would want to see/do in Edinburgh. It is an easy walk to Waverley Station, Edinburgh Bus Station and the many local bus stops that line Princes Street.
This spotlessly clean apartment would have to be the best-equipped I have ever stayed in - lots of kitchen utensils/pots/pans/crockery/cutlery etc are provided as well as a roll of aluminium foil and cling film. The kitchen is also equipped with a washing machine and a dishwasher for which powders are provided. There is also a small "store cupboard" where departing guests may leave non-perishable items for the use of future guests.
There is a "walk-in" shower and the water pressure (and heat) is great. A bottle of shower gel is provided as well as toilet paper and air-freshener.
An iron, ironing-board and clothes airer are supplied.
There are a number of supermarkets within walking distance however there are also lots of wonderful pubs and restaurants to tempt you with their culinary offerings. There is a pub downstairs however I've never been disturbed by any noise from the establishment.
Lynne is a wonderful host and I can thoroughly recommend this apartment to anyone who wants a centrally-located and well-appointed Edinburgh holiday rental.
