I loved everything about this hotel apart from location of our room. It was room111 and was above the kitchen and was very noisy and kept me awake most of the night. When I mentioned it in the morning the receptionist was most apologetic and gave us a free breakfast. I would definitely return and ask for a different room

Only used the bar. Good food, good prices, good surroundings but the bar service lets it down. It would seem the bar staff disappear periodically despite customers waiting to be served. Maybe need to employ a few more staff?

Easy to find, easy to check-in, nice room with a really comfortable bed. Bathroom was spotlessly clean with soft towels, Nice touch at check-in to hand out the wee slip with bus details to/from the city centre - an easy 15-20 minute hop each way. Usual good Wetherspoon breakfast options. OK, so the prices for rooms get hiked up during The Fringe but heh hoh. A good find and one that will fit the bill for future visits to Edinburgh.

Room Tip: If you're a light sleeper, watch out for the 0515hours bin lorry collection.

Stayed an overnight while visiting the Festival. Good bus service from the hotel into the city and cheap £1.70 single or £4 for an all day ticket. The room we were in on the first floor was nice and bed comfortable but the room was a bit dark and very hot, a fan was provided which did help a bit. The staff are very helpful. The food was good . We will definitely visit again.

This was our third visit to The White Lady, and only issue this time was we had a room at front of the hotel, and could have done with double glazing, as very heavy traffic noise all night, which kept us awake, the last twice before had room at rear of hotel.

As for our room this visit, very nice girl on reception and booked us in quickly, and as we were early gave us our key card for room booked us in, and was able to park car and go into Edinburgh for Fringe all day, our room was at the front of hotel, and very clean, with full tea coffee and bottle water available, bed was very comfortable, and extra pillows available if needed, only issue was as above, and was last minute booking.

Would recommend as only short bus ride into town with bus stop right out side hotel, I will be staying again, but will be asking for room at back of hotel, parking is available at rear of hotel, but limited, as this is also a Wetherspoon restaurant as well, but did not hear much noise from people leaving at night.

Room Tip: Ask for room at back of hotel
