We stayed here from 13-16 March 2015 to celebrate my wife's mum and dad's golden wedding and also her mum's 70th birthday
What can I say apart from what a stunning location, beautiful castle and the most perfect venue for all our lovely family and relatives to meet up and share these landmark occasions
The communication with Adity was both simple and informative. We received an amazing reception,we were warmly welcomed and shown around this most historic building steeped in history. Without doubt we could not have chosen a more idyllic location, everyone thoroughly enjoyed themselves and enjoyed the beautiful surroundings which were both tranquil and relaxing.
We all want to return at some point in the future!
Thank you from us all for the most amazing family celebrations

Have just returned from a week stay at Craufurdland Castle and what can I say, beautiful property in stunning surroundings! There was 20 of us in total and you would never believe it as the castle was so spacious. The children had plenty of places to explore in and out with very well maintained grounds. The dogs had lots of space to roam around and some lovely walks within the estate. There was everything you could want in the kitchen from crockery to equipment and glasses to spices. There were two dishwashers which was a great help at meal times and two fridge freezers for storing all food and drink.
The castle is also in a good location to local amenities and not far from main road networks. To top it all off the weather was fantastic!! Simon and Addity were very welcoming on arrival, providing fresh flowers from the garden to go in the halls and some wine for our first night. All in all a fabulous break and would highly recommend a stay. Thank you.

The castle is absaloutley stunning, everything is so perfect and set out lovely. When we arrived it was very clean and welcoming. The rooms are gorgeous and they have a lot of space in them. The garden is huge! Loved the book on the desk which has been logged singe 1906! We had a brilliant time and everyone enjoyed their holiday. Thankyou very much to the owners of the castle for having us stay. -Megan

“Amazing location, relaxing break away!”
Reviewed 17 March 2015 for a stay in March 2015

Castle was exactly as described. Warmer than we expected! Fantastically well equipped kitchen. We had a very large family group and everyone was more than comfortable. Can't recommend the castle enough. Steeped in history but with enough modern facilities. We are already planning a return visit!

Really pleased you all had a nice time here, we try to make it as homely as possible. We do do our best to make sure we shatter the illusions of cold draughty castles. We have are heated by ETA biomass boilers and brilliant secondary glazing by EcoEase to keep the cold out.
