Booked at the last minute and ended up in the disability friendly room, only room left.
It was clean, quiet, warm and the bed comfortable. Having just been refurbished everything is new and looks to be quality. Could do with a couple of toiletry shelves in the shower and alongside the sink and the newly painted window frame needs 'unsticking' but it is early days they tell me and the refurbed rooms are still at the snagging phase.
The reception was quick and the young lady very helpful. A couple of good ales followed by a tasty basic meal was just the job at the end of a very long day.
