A great day out with plenty to see and do. Easy and plentiful parking. Lots of food and drinks stalls with a large show field.

Me and my family visited here with our small dog, we had an amazing day and the staff bent over backwards to make our day so perfect, the land rover experience and guide (Brian) was great and made my Dad very happy. The tearoom offer lovely food and the staff were great and we would like to mention Jean in the admission kiosk who was extremely helpful to us on our day (my heartfelt thanks go to Claire Oram for making our day so wonderful)

Thank Diane lets you know

Even though the castle was closed, we were very happy with our visit to the gardens. They are so terribly well-kept and so beautiful in their symmetrical design.
Worth while to visit, even when the castle itself was closed.

Very impressed by the staff who took us around the castle on the tour. Impressive knowledge of the history, art and many anecdotal stories.

Lots of photo opportunities outside, sadly no photography inside the castle.
There are lots of outside areas to discover too

Definitely worth the long detour from the motorway
