Very good place to stay in Aberdeen and very convenient for The Lemon Tree where we attended a concert, (Maggie Bell - five stars). The dinner was so-so (cold soup), the breakfast good and the staff very good. One star lost for the huge amount of litter at the rear of the hotel which was our outlook, and the fact that the room smelled of cigarette smoke.

I am struggling to find fault with what is really a mid range budget hotel. For £45 a night you can't go wrong here. There was ample parking, the staff were really friendly & helpful checking us in 2 hours early and looking up local travel information. The rooms are a good size with big comfy beds and bathroom has a proper shower. Plenty of wardrobe space, and a big dressing table area and well lit mirror. Vital for a lady to get ready! Breakfast was all you can eat for £8 and the choice was better than usual. Due to the central location it did get a little noisy at night so if you're a light sleeper maybe bring some earplugs but no real criticisms at all.

This is a really well located Premier Inn and the staff on reception were brilliant. As with many Premier Inns the hotel is a converted council office and it feels like that, a converted council office. A concrete monster in a city of granite.

The rooms are clean and reasonably comfortable as you'd expect and WiFi doesn't cost a fortune for the 24 hour access but things were just a little shabby for what was quite a expensive nights stay. I think a refurb would make quite a lot of difference.

The basement car park is very tight and not enough spaces exist for all guests so you need to be very careful when manouvering your Volvo.

I only used the resteraunt for breakfast and it was a budget breakfast and not a lot to wite about. The area is surrounded by coffee shops and resterants and I'd maybe skip breakfast next time and go somewhere nicer.

On the whole though I'd be happy to visit this hotel again as armed with a little knowledge its a great place to stay and the reception staff are lovely. It makes all the difference.

Room Tip: Get an off main street room on the southern half of the hotel as there are rubbish bins on the north...

Had no problem at all parking, ample spaces on arrival at approx. 1.30pm and apparantely there is alternative parking. lovely welcome from receptionist. Room spotless and very comfortable. Theatre, bars and restaurants within walking distance. Great nights sleep, room opposite came in quite late but it's a Saturday night in Aberdeen ! Great welcome at breakfast, lady seating us just smiled all the time, just lovely. Breakfast was piping hot and delicious. Only regret is that we didn't have dinner in the restaurant before the theatre, the menu looked great and if it was to the standard of the breakfast then we missed out on a great meal. Will definitely stay here again.

Room Tip: our room was quiet maybe because it was at the back of the hotel,
