Stayed in St Columb's for a weekend workshop. The exterior of the building is very period, however it needs a bit of attention as there are weeds growing from the spountains that could compromise the integrity of the walls and rood.
Very interesting garden with statues that have political and historical significance.
Within the grounds there is a tennis court. As the name suggests the house is surrounded by St Columb's park which is also steeped in history.
The house rules are a bit stringent with a curfew. Lack of availability of tea/coffee and drinking water when the cafe is closed.
The dorm we were in had two shower rooms one of which had a broken shower door. Bathrooms could have been cleaner.
Great venue with a lot of potentialMore
