I stayed B&B at the Manor House Lodge only because a more rural B&B where I enquired was fully booked, so they referred me in town. This B&B is in the old Manor House, so very central. There is private car parking to the rear, was quite full as there was a function going on. I was welcomed and assigned a room on 2nd floor. Tea & cookies is a self-help affair in a corridor corner just in front of the rooms; you are not allowed to take food or drinks into the room so the signs read. My room had a double bed which was OK. Shower/washbasin and toilet are en-suite. Unfortunately my room was to the front, road facing. This is a main road through Moneymore and very very busy at all times, in fact I did not get any sleep at all despite closing windows and wearing ear plugs! You actually feel vibrations from lorries pulling away from the roundabout just in front. Unsurprisingly I had no appetite for breakfast next morning.
I have to add for completeness I was assigned another room, rear-facing for my next night (I had mentioned I wanted to leave early). Anyway, The Sperrins are nice to visit, which is why I was in and around Moneymore in the first place.
