We enjoyed our stay and Rosie was the perfect hostess.I am not keen on sky lights for the bedroom, but it worked for us it was a beautiful moonlight night and the moon shone in our room and made it magical. The breakfast was something to die for lashings of food. All in all a nice place to stop.

A very warm welcome. 3 beautiful dogs who are very friendly. Great location. The view from this beautiful house is breathtaking. We were in one of the upstairs bedrooms which was beautiful. A king sized bed and a single was just right for our needs and VERY COMFY. There were blackout blinds in the windows too which only went on to improve an already great nights sleep. Great location to Newcastle all be it by taxi (3 yr old in tow). Breakfast was included in the price and beautiful a well stocked table and great company to top off a great stay. Will be back in the near future. Thank you Rosie and Peter xx

Room tip: Room 1 was beautiful but up 2 flights of stairs

Friendly and generous hosts.

Comfortable house kept spotlessly clean. While they have dogs, none of the three alergic members of my family had as much as a sniffle.

The setting is beautiful, with a wonderful view of the bay.

The tasty and generous breakfast kept us going throughout the day. And Rosie was kind enough to provide some top tips for keeping orchids happy, and Peter's dinner recommendation was spot-on.

Would definitely stay here again.

Rosie and Peter gave us a warm welcome even though we weren't expected and we realised that we had left a bag containing money, passport etc an hour and a half back in Drogheda. Our panic dissolved. Rosie took control and phoned the Garda and found the number of the pub where we had left the bag.Luckily the intact bag was ready for collection behind the bar. Every comfort was provided for us and the breakfast was a real treat and beautifully presented. Our only regret was that we had a ferry to catch, otherwise we would have loved to stay longer.

We were in dire need of lodging and were blessed to find Rosie and Pete's location. From their dogs to the geese and the turkey that visited us for breakfast, this is just a one of a kind place.

We had the entire top floor and after a very long day of traveling, could not have asked for better accommodations. Their hospitality was so welcoming, as were the smells of the scones Rosie was baking for a friend!

The beds were heaven and her breakfast and coffee were our favorites during our two weeks in Ireland. What is special about this B&B is Rosie and Pete however, they are lovely people.
