Avoid the grim terraces of 1950s B&Bs flanking the main street in Ballycastle and head ever so slighty south to Carey Mill Road, just beyond the golf club, to the delightful Acraville B&B set in an Arcadian setting amid sheep-speckled hillsides. The house was built two years ago and the rooms are large and sparkle with light. The hostess, Louise McVeigh, could not be more engaging or helpful, providing useful local information and, more important, beautifully prepared full Ulster breakfasts. We liked the place so much we stayed an extra night.
