Stayed here for one night at a reduced rate. We booked a superior room which was spacious and well equipped. Lovely decor - deep pile carpet, huge bed, quality bed and bath linen. Did have a problem with large screen TV which was sorted within minutes. Ate in the bar/restaurant which we had not pre-booked - fillet steak highly recommended salmon was overpowered by chilli noodles. Staff were attentive and very accomodating. The breakfast offered a great selection of juices, cereals, porridge, fresh fruit, yogurt, and breads in addition to a wide range of cooked fare. Situated at the back of Belfast City Hall perfect for shopping and all the other attractions Belfast has to offer

Rooms very warm - A/C didn't help much at all.
Breakfast wasn't great either.
Location is a plus and might be the reason we'd use this hotel again !

We booked the romantic package at this hotel as a treat for ourselves and to have a relaxing evening unwinding.

The staff on arrival were very friendly, welcoming and helpful. I noticed how attractive the decor was - trendy, but calm and subtle tones giving the impression of a relaxed atmosphere.

We were shown to our room and we were delighted and suitably impressed. A very large room, beautifully decorated with a king sized bed and flat screen tv. As we had booked the romantic package there was the lovely touches of rose petals strewn on the bed in the shape of a heart. More rose petals were placed along the side of the bath and a elegantly wrapped bottle of champagne and chocolates were also laid out for us. All very lovely indeed.

The only downside was the temperature of the room. The room did have air con but it was just not working properly. We called reception and a man did have a quick look but didn't really make any difference to it. The room was far too warm for me to sleep in. We mentioned it again when we went down to reception and although the receptionist was understanding she gave the baffling response "We are not used to this heat in Belfast and the air con is not as powerful as it shoulld be to cope ...it was only 21c day time outside!! I couldn't understand how everywhere else was lovely and cool with the air con in rest of hotel obviously working perfectly ...until you reached the floor where your room was.

I had to leave a small fan on all night (that we found in waldrobe ..making me think this has been an issue before) to keep me to a temperature that i could sleep.

In the morning the cooked breakfast on the menu was nice, again with very friendly staff but not great selection of buffet breakfast ...no yogurts and limited fruit.

When checking out i mentioned how disappointed i was with the temperature of the room making it uncomfortable to sleep. The receptionist was understanding and knocked £20 off the bill which i thought was very nice of her.

All in all it really is a lovely hotel with great staff, just hope they can sort the air con because i wouldn't really like to stay here again in the summer until they do.
