Having had a very good takeaway over the Christmas holiday, we decided to do likewise at Easter for a family gathering.
My wife and I have to avoid garlic and as before, they were very helpful in preparing special garlic-free dishes for us. Some of our party are gluten-free or dairy-free, with which they also coped admirably. We gave them 24 hours notice of the meal, for which they were appreciative.
When we collected the meals, the manager was helpfulness itself in checking that everything was in the box and clearly labelled.
The chosen meals and accessories (naan, puppodum ...) were again excellent and thoroughly enjoyed by the family.
In summary, a splendid meal enjoyed by everyone, we will certainly go there again when we fancy a good curry, especially as they are able to cope with all our odd dietary requirements.
Just a note about payment: it does seem a bit odd that they don't take plastic of any sort, it's cash only. Since our meal was planned well ahead, we were able to go to an ATM earlier in the day to be prepared. If anyone decides on a spur of the moment curry, they need to be sure they have enough cash to pay.
To Paprika management: do please reconsider this policy, I'm sure we and many other customers would appreciate the convenience of debit card payment.

Another delicious meal from the boys at Paprika last night. This takeaway is an absolute gem, and we are so lucky to have it just round the corner! Food is always delicious, reliable and of a consistently high quality. We have a friend with a garlic allergy, and they are quite happy to cater for him. I am hurt and baffled by the nasty comments made by the previous gentleman, and wonder what his motives were. He certainly wouldn't have had a bad meal, and the comment that Bangladeshis can't cook is blatantly racist. Most 'Indian' restaurants in this country are owned by Bangladeshis! Ignore this man's acid remarks, this is a brilliant little takeaway, and I thoroughly recommend it!!

Whilst working away, the guys had an urge for curry due to eating kebabs for the previous 2 nights. The issue I also have in remote areas like this is the fact that the Indian cuisine is more like “Anglo English Cuisine” than an actual curry.

We found paprika due to it being literally 5 mins walk around the corner from our working location. Internally it’s large with an open kitchen. The guy serving knew when he saw 5 punjabi guys enter along with a English guy who is used to eating Punjabi Cuisine, that it was never going to be the standard that we requested. In fact, telling the owner how to make it summed it all up. I personally ordered basic - Chana Aloo with a keema naan along with a pot of achar in case it was not spicy. My dish was the complete opposite to how it was meant to be, very sweet, watery and the naan tasteless and soggy. The other guys experienced something similar and the £50 we spent was a waste of time and money considering everyone left 50% of their dishes.

Uncle bens in a jar would have been more tasty than the dishes we ordered. Ashame these Bangladeshi chefs cannot change their cooking style and tragically set on making things only the one way.

We had a houseful of 14 family members over the Christmas holiday and decided a good curry would be a special treat for dinner one evening. My wife has to avoid garlic in even microscopic amounts, so we phoned up in advance to ask if they could cope with that. No problem, they said, everything is made to order. We therefore ordered, giving them about 1.5 hours notice of when we wanted to pick up the food. We arrived at the shop to find everything ready and a very helpful man (sorry, forgotten his name) went through our order and made sure we could see which were the garlic-free dishes. Couldn't have been more helpful - and was appreciative that we had given good notice, so he had time personally to prepare the special spice/flavouring mix needed.
Got home and everyone agreed it was a truly excellent meal, with generous portions. Having only moved into the area a few weeks ago, this place will be our first choice when we next fancy a curry.

We thought it was a bit odd that they do not take cheques, credit or debit cards. Our meal for 14 came to a tidy sum and it was fortunate we could rustle up enough cash to be able to pay. Paprika management: please review this policy and at least arrange to take debit cards, which would be a great convenience to many customers, I feel sure.

Note that the address is Penclawdd (on the Gower), not Swansea itself. The postcode is correct.

A note to other reviewers: if someone in your party has special dietary requirements, please tell everyone how the establishment coped with it. 10 out of 10 for Paprika!
