Been here on a few occasions. loved every one! Parking can be a bit of a nightmare at busy times. That aside, once your inside the cars a million miles away. Had Faggots and peas the last time. Be warned, the faggots alone could feed the Welsh Rugby team. AND the ref! Nice being here when the log fire is lit, enjoying pint's with the friendly locals. Even a sheepdog made us welcome. Great views outside. Very cosy inside.

Room Tip: Dont know, never stayed.

We stayed for two nights recently in a cosy cottage accommodation behind the Inn. This was absolutely fine.

We ate there on Friday night and planned to eat in Cardiff on Saturday night. The meal and service was so good that we ate at Gwaelod Y Garth Inn on Saturday night too.

Breakfasts were good quality, cooked to order and generous portions.

The staff were all very friendly and attentive.

Thank you very much.

Visited this Inn for a birthday meal with 5 friends. Log fire burned in a cosy bar with Christmas decorations dotted about. We dined upstairs in a very comfortable dining area. Staff very helpful and a good choice menu. Excellent food and service and reasonably priced. Will be visiting there again.

What a great B&B this is! Right from the moment we arrived we felt very at home. The room was spotless and comfortable. The location was excellent - handy for the city by train but outside of the big city bustle. But most of all we enjoyed the friendly kindness of everyone we met, that and the fabulous breakfast.

Room Tip: Violet Cottage has excellent views and is nice and private

What a lovely, friendly, welcoming place this is. We arrived in time for lunch and had a very good meal in the restaurant. The menu offers a good selection, the food is well cooked and the service is friendly and efficient. We went into Cardiff to watch rugby and returned later in the evening for a drink in the bar. They have a good range of more unusual draft beers and the bar is pleasant and warm. We were staying the night as the Inn has rooms available and we were very impressed by the accommodation. Good sized rooms, all ensuite, big comfortable beds and all appointed to good hotel standards (fresh milk in the minibar, for example). Breakfast next morning was the same high standard, with our host, Barbara, serving our party and a group of eight New Zealanders with the same good humour as she had served beer the night before. Although the Inn is only 6 or 7 miles out of Cardiff it is situated in beautiful countryside which I would love to go back to explore.
