“Lovely country property”
Reviewed 8 December 2011 for a stay in November 2011

I stayed at this cottage with a group of girlfriends for a hen weekend during November and as the 'matron of honour' was responsible for booking it so was feeling every ounce of responsibility on my shoulders! I can happily report that it was absolutely perfect for our group of 'just over 40's' and from the moment I arrived I felt completely relaxed about the choice. The bride to be was equally happy with it as were all the hens. The cottages are snug and pretty and the biggest one provides the perfect place to all hang out together either on the comfy sofas or around the great big table. Its peaceful, pretty and very welcoming. Everything is in top notch condition and very clean and comfortable. The only advice I would give to anyone staying is perhaps take your own towels as the ones provided are not particularily big. Also, we had to go buy some hand soap (although if we had asked the owners I'm sure they would have provided some for us). Apart from that the cottages have everything that you could possibly need including a great big chocolate cake courtesy of the owners. Yum!

“Excellent Cottages and Happy Horses”

Lovely cottages, in a very quiet location. Enjoyed having the horses and animals close by especially Patrick and Toby. Stayed for the weekend with some girl friends on a pre wedding party and it was perfect, with three seperate cottages for accomodation , but one large enough for all to gather in. Warm, comfortable and clean, highly recommended

“Best weekend cottage I've seen”
Reviewed 12 October 2011 for a stay in October 2011

Loved this place. We search hard for a suitable weekend cottage for a group of 11 of us and this turned out to be one of the least expensive and the best. It's just as it looks in the photos and the stream running next the cottage is a nice addition... leave the window open and you can go to sleep hearing it gurgle. It's remote, right in the middle of the Beacons, but all the luxuries and amenities are there. We really liked it. The owners were very helpful in directing us on walks and for other activities.... the best by far being the nearby Dulais Valley Quads. Totally recommended.

“Never done a review before but.........”
Reviewed 25 March 2011 for a stay in October 2010

Never done a review before but this place is special. Me and my friends had a great time. The area is beautiful and accomodation is charming, very clean and finished to a really high standard. Great value for a group. And for me particularly special as the cottage / converted barn is in about 80 acres, and next to about 30 stables, set aside for much-loved retired horses, Lovely owners who are there if you need them and not if you don't. I will definitely go back there again.
