“idyllic location, fabulous house superbly equipped”
Reviewed 11 March 2012 for a stay in March 2012

Rented the Glass House (Ty Gwydyr) to celebrate hubby's 60th Birthday with our family. House is amazing, finished to a high standard, fully equipped with everything you could possibly need. View from the garden is superb, very peaceful and quiet. Weather was fabulous and we made full use of the Hot tub. Would definately hire this house again and would recommend it to anyone

“Contemporary meets classical - a truly spectacular property”
Reviewed 20 September 2011 for a stay in November 2010

I have stayed at Ty Gwydr several times now, and each time has been more lovely than the last. If you can tear your eyes away from the superbly designed property, the surrounding scenery is breathtaking come rain or shine.

The kitchen is great to cook in, with plenty of space to prepare even the most extravagant roast, and the table extends to comfortably seat a large group of people. To top it all off, the floor tiles are heated throughout the main reception room, which makes winter breaks extremely cosy.

The hot tub is substanstial, and is a great way to unwind after a hard day's ramble. The high-surrounding wall gives both privacy and soundproofing.

In terms of location, there are a number of beautiful walks close to the house down to the lake, and lots of mountains within easy driving distance for the more adventurous.

All in all, a thoroughly enjoyable place to stay. I could not recommend it enough.
