I stayed as part of a family group for a long weekend so that we could walk up Snowdon. The house was wonderful, comfortable, well equipped and with stunning views. We had plenty of space to spread out and the kitchen and dining table had lots of room for everyone without being in each other’s way. It was easy to find, even for those of the party who arrived after dark and the parking area opposite the house made unloading the cars easy. We enjoyed the walk up Snowdon and after going under the second railway bridge had an amazing view down the mountain to Snowdon House. Unfortunately there was no view from the summit, just cloud, but we had a good day and on returning to the house congratulated ourselves with a glass of well chilled bubbly from the wine cooler and then very much enjoyed using the hot tub to ease our aching legs. Snowdon House is in a good spot for exploring the area around Mount Snowdon, on our free day we went to Portmerion and Betws Y Coed and if we had been able to stay longer would have visited more of the surrounding area.
Booked the house for a group of us visiting for a wedding at Llyn Gwynant Campsite.
Fantastic facilities in the house. Although we didn't do much cooking the kitchen was brilliantly equipped, everything we needed and more. We did enjoy use of the large barbecue.
The hot tub and sauna were a particular favourite of all guests staying, such a treat!
Comfortable sized house for a large group. Really good value for money. Looking for an excuse to return!
We were a large group staying here to climb Snowdon and celebrate my mothers' 70th birthday. The house has the most stunning views from all angles - especially the hot tub! Wonderful big kitchen with large dining table and plenty of space for everyone. We will be back!!
Snowdon House was perfect for our family gathering, having everything we could need and more. Full of character, it's situated within a stone's throw of Snowdon.and in the midst of the beautiful national park. The hot tub was especially welcome after a mountain climb and the beds comfy. Would have loved to stay longer!
