“cosy, good value, comfortable”

A comfortable cottage with everything you need. The log burner was a big bonus for a winter weekend. Conveniently located with a local shop down the road and a coupe of pubs in the village to eat (only tried one of them). Good value especially if you split it between four people.

“Yet another fantastic stay in Helen's cottage”
Reviewed 3 November 2013 for a stay in October 2013

This is our 4th stay in this wonderful cottage situated in the beautiful village of Dolwyddelan.

This cottage offers all you need for a visit to North Wales. It has 2 lovely double bedrooms and a well laid out lounge and kitchen area with all the essentials to hand.

There is a nice secluded decked area accessed via double doors off of the lounge for those sunny days. If you are having a winter trip then the all important wood burner is there for cosy evenings after long days enjoying the scenery.

This cottage is a great base for exploring Snowdonia National Park and the owner Helen is always helpful and on hand if needed.

The cottage is a home from home and highly recommended.

“Beautiful cottage in perfect location for holidaying in North Wales”
Reviewed 29 October 2013 for a stay in August 2013

Situated in an ideal location for easy access to Snowdonia, the North and North West Wales coastline and castles, the 2 bed cottage is well-equipped, comfortable and has a quiet and sunny patio area ideal for early evening drinks! Dolwyddelan village has a Spa mini-supermarket, two pubs (with food available) and has a railway station on the Llandudno line; all of which are a two minute walk away from the cottage, yet none of these facilities interfere with the tranquility of the cottage's location.

Liked best: The comfort of the cottage and its peaceful location
Liked least: Although Wi-Fi was available the signal was very poor due to the hills

“Home from Home”
Reviewed 28 October 2013 for a stay in September 2013

I am Canadian and this is the second time that my family and I have been hosted by Ian and Helen will on extended visits to the UK.
We have found Y Neuadd.Lwyd to be a true home from home. All the comforts ... love the fire particularly when its raining .... in a wonderful scenic setting and with great Hosts.
The walking is tremendous for those who want it and for those who don't ..... there is always the train into Llandudno !
Highly recommended !!
