“Excellent, well worth choosing this holiday cottage.”
Reviewed 1 February 2016 for a stay in January 2016

Set in the castle walls is this tardis like cottage, It looks tiny from the outside but is huge inside.
A lounge with two 3/4 seater settees with a large TV and an open fire, a dining room that seats around 10. Plenty of bedrooms, a great sized kitchen, a basement which is ideal for younger guests and a rear yard which is very secure for simply letting the dog or children out to play. Plenty of outside seating and a hot tub which seats 7.
There is one parking space right outside the cottage but free road side parking near the railway station if you're lucky.

Liked best: Probably its location.
Liked least: Its minor, but we couldn't find any plastic glasses for when we used the hot tub as glass is too dangerous.

Thank you ever so much for sharing such a wonderful review with us, we are over the moon that you enjoyed your holiday! It sounds like the property suited you down to the ground, with plenty of space, the convenient outside space and of course that hot tub which would certainly be the cherry on top for us! We certainly hope that you return again very soon.

Spent 5 days here ...theres everything you need in the cottage ...if you like a good nights sleep beds not very comfy ..son slept on settee in front room ...garden area lovely but there is an issue with the rubbish ..bins didnt get emptyied and dont seem to have been for a while ....we kept having to clear it all up ..hot tub wasnt working properly and paula the caretaker kept coming to fill it up every day so it seemed ok ...wi fi is a bit hit and miss ..dining room best place for it we found ...area itself is a bit run down and if you have small children there is a lot of teenagers mostly on skateboards outside the house at night we had to go and tell them to move but they didnt seem to bother ...caernafon castle is just a two minute walk away so that was a good afternoon ....all in all nice place ..homely

“Well equipped but parking an issue”
Reviewed 20 September 2014 for a stay in September 2014

We have just enjoyed a lovely family holiday spending a week at Castle Street Cottage. The cottage is clean and well equipped in a very good location; very easy to walk to the pubs and restaurants and very accessible for Snowdonia, Anglesey and the Llyn Peninsula. The hot tub was enjoyed by every one and we were blessed with brilliant weather. However, the parking was an issue. We were only permitted to park one car outside the house, as we were advised not to park outside the adjacent property which was up for sale. We were also advised that we might be ticketed by the traffic wardens but if we were the owner would appeal it, as she had an informal agreement for us to park outside the house. This did worry us a little. We only found one small free car park, by the marina, but finding a space there was difficult, as was finding a space on the nearby streets. The other car parks now charge so if you have more than one or two cars, be prepared.

Just got back from this cottage and can say we had a great time. The cottage is equipped with everything you could possibly need and more. There is a little welcome pack on arrival which was much appreciated. The hot tub, well what can I say, my husband was in there sometimes three times a day! The cottage is on the doorsteps of the castle, within the town walls. There are shops and bars all within minutes walk of the cottage. Great holiday, thank you.
