Whilst the room and the bed were a little small, the view was lovely plus, we were only staying for one night and so that was not an issue and easily off-set by the many, many positives that this hotel presents.
A stunning building in lovely gardens and impeccably clean throughout. The lounge and bar areas were comfortable however the shining light of this hotel is it's restaurant.
Flavour and presentation of their food was first class with a good variety from which to choose.
I've been to many Michelin starred restaurants and am often left feeling underwhelmed by mediocrity and price. This kitchen is run by Chris, who has years of experience and his sous chef who has experience in a two star Michelin kitchen and it shows.
The result is a thoroughly enjoyable dining experience, food being served to a far higher standard than one would find in many top flight restaurants in London, let alone in a quiet residential road in Malvern and to a greater level even than their many plaudits and growing number of awards would suggest.
This is aided by an enthusiastic, knowledgeable and proficient front of house team.
A well constructed wine list compliments the food nicely too.
We're looking forward to going back.More
