We enjoyed an excellent week in Broadway. The Granary is small but was ideal for our stay, very comfortable, clean and the court yard is large and also a sun trap, great for relaxing. The shower room is very good but the towel rail is too close to the toilet. Bedroom has a double bed that is very comfortable and a sky light which was kept open every night due to the heat which is good for twitcher's who may like to rise at dawn for the bird chorus. The wi-fi was intermittent but Greg was aware of this issue. Overall we would definitely stay again and can recommend the Granary.

John,
thank you for your review.
I will look into the proximity of the towel rail to the toilet.
The Broadband has now been changed (as of this Monday 20th July)from BT to Sky in the hope that their service to the village is better!. Well we can only hope!

“Petite, Pretty and Perfect for a Pair!”
Reviewed 15 June 2015 for a stay in June 2015

Lovely, comfortable, cute and quality conversion of the old Granary building. Very well planned and laid out considering the size. It is tiny! Everything we could possibly need was there, including coffee, loo rolls, cleaning chemicals, iron, etc. Huge fluffy towels, fabulous shower. More storage space than one would expect. The courtyard garden had sun all day and comfy garden furniture. (A little word of warning, the dustbins for the three rental properties here are in the courtyard so visitors from the others may come in to dispose of rubbish.) We had a few wifi problems - Android tablets OK but Windows laptop not - may have been its settings. Owner Greg was very helpful, reset the modem in the Old Grocery and would like feedback if other people have problems. 19" thick walls may be to blame, though there is a booster in the Granary.

Parking in Broadway is at a premium but the Granary has its own space in front of the building. Lots of leaflets, maps and guides in the Granary to help you find out where to go.

The cottage is at the quiet end of Broadway High Street, away from the hustle and bustle of the shopping and hotels area, but within 5 minutes walk of the nearest pub, the Horse and Hound. That a friendly locals' pub with good food and beer. Other hostelries, restaurants and shops within easy reach.

Broadway is beautiful but busy - lots of tourists, as in other places like Bourton on the Water and Stow on the Wold. We like peace and took to the hills on our feet - to Broadway Tower, Saintbury and Willersey, as well as a walk from beautiful walk B on the W to Wyck Rissington, through gorgeous flower strewn meadows.

Broadway is a great location for exploring the Cotswolds and the Granary was a perfect place to stay - thank you so much Greg.

Louise,
Thank you for you fantastic review. And comments.
The Wifi. I am in the process of changing from BT and may go for fibre. But will be checking coverage around the property!
And the rubbish. I will be developing the outbuilding to encompass a laundry for all properties and a storage area for the bins that will be separate from the Granary's yard. So no interruptions or others failing to get in to bins because gate can be locked sometimes.
thanks
Greg

“Great cottage in great location”
Reviewed 24 May 2015 for a stay in September 2014

A wonderful cosy cottage that is maintained to a very high standard. A good sized private yard that gets the sun all afternoon. Conveniently located for a stroll into the village where all the pubs are dog friendly. Excellent food at the Broadway Hotel. Looking forward to our next stay.

Back for a third time, The Granary is a great alternative to some of the Broadway Hotels.
Exceptionally clean and well presented this one bedroom barn conversion provides everything you need for your stay in the Cotswolds. Highly recommended and will be back again soon.

“Beautiful cottage and great location”
Reviewed 28 December 2014 for a stay in December 2014

We had a lovely Christmas stay at The Granary. The cottage had everything we needed and was a short walk to the pubs and shops. Very clean, comfortable and quaint. Perfect location in the perfect place. We look forward to booking a stay there again soon. Many thanks.
