Thank you to all of the staff at Buckland Manor. My husband along with our friends who stayed at your hotel with us, loved out stay in your hotel. We stayed in the Garden Room and it was spacious, beautifully laid out, and very comfortable. My only slighly negative feedback would relate to the room being fairly warm - however given the type of heat we enjoyed which is not your usual summer, I can understand the difficulties this would cause. The benefit we did get from the warm weather was the ability to eat outside for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Which brings me to the restaurant. The food, service and wine was fabulous. Lots of variety, all of a very high standard, and always served with a smile. For anyone planning on taking a walk, take good walking shoes because the walks in the region are through the fields, over the gates, and go for a few miles. But the view are totally worth the effort,

We loved your hotel. From the moment we pulled in and were greeted by Dave and Oscar, to the lovely grounds and garden, where we spent every evening enjoying a cocktail, dinner and fine wine. It was a wonderful and relaxing stay and I will definitely recommend you to our friends. We would also stay there again!

Buckland Manor exceeded all our expectations; we had the most amazing week in this Cotswolds retreat. The location and general atmosphere were my favorite aspects of this property. Surrounding the old manor home are beautiful gardens and lawns. Beyond the gardens are pastures with sheep and the small cottages down Buckland's one road. The little village of Buckland is so quiet and quaint. There are no tourists there, the road is one-way in and one-way out, and Buckland Manor with its limited number of rooms adds no noise pollution to the neighborhood so the area is peaceful and quiet. Broadway is the nearest town, and it is only a 3-minute's drive; however, my favorite was to town was via the Cotswold's Way which connects to the village of Buckland. It was a 30-minute walk, by pastures and cottages, over a wooded hill, and down a field into town. Of all the towns we saw, Broadway was our favorite; it never had tour buses or loud traffic, most the people there seemed local (or at least British), and the town was abundantly charming. In addition to Broadway Manor's perfect location in the Cotswolds, our room and the common rooms were all beautiful and full of character. The food was delicious, and breakfast was especially good. Special treats like tea and cookies are available at no charge. The service was friendly and professional. And the other guests were all as happy and pleased as we were. It all made for the most memorable and enjoyable stay. I cannot recommend Buckland Manor enough, and we will absolutely return.

Visited Buckland Manor for a special 87th Birthday and decided to go for the Full Afternoon Tea. Arrived a little earlier than expected and this gave us a chance
to wander around the exquisite gardens.

Very, friendly and accommodating welcome as my Mom was in a wheelchair but this posed no problem at all. Sat in one of the beautiful lounges overlooking the garden, and we were served soon after sitting even though we were about half an hour earlier than expected.

Full afternoon tea was both exquisitely presented and delicious, from the sandwiches, to the warm scones, delectable cakes and tea. All in all a really lovely afternoon will definately be visiting again.

We stayed here for our anniversary and had a good stay. Property is a little tired around the edges but lovely service. Great afternoon tea by a lovely old fire. Good surrounding area and accessible to all the cotswolds villages. On the expensive side. Cheaper hotels in the villages.
