Broadway as a town is rather smug. It knows it doesn't have to go the extra mile to attract the tourists and we got rather the same feeling from the Broadway Hotel.
Beautiful building in lovely surroundings but feeling a little tired. Very pleasant, helpful and efficient staff.
Our room was fine but not value for money, especially not in comparison with other hotels we stayed in during our week's tour of England and Wales but I guess you pay for location.
As someone else mentioned, no give away toiletries not even in the upgraded rooms. However, I didn't mind as, in company with many hotels, the toiletries contained a rather unpleasant preservative to which I am allergic so I had to use my own anyway!!
Breakfast was good, cooked to order and served efficiently.
If you need to stay in Broadway and, despite my opening comments, I would recommend a visit as it is full of character and very pretty, then the Broadway hotel is as good a choice as any and by no means the most expensive.More
