Where do I begin? Originally booked as a family of 5 for a one night stay. Two friends then wished to join us with their young children and we called to book two further rooms for a total of six adults and six children. Simple enough, you would think.... booking email confirmation comes through. One room booked! A call back to the bookings team to request the right confirmation and the same email was repeatedly sent again, again, and again. After verbal reassurance from the staff we had the three rooms booked and they had taken payment, we took their word on it. Still no confirmation.

We arrived at the hotel to find they had booked just the one room and they then asked us for the email confirmation, which they were unable to send us! About 20 minutes searching and scrabbling around by the reception staff they found they had the two other rooms but under different versions of our surnames. Incompetent. We had a specific request of all three rooms to be together, which we were assured they would be. They weren't. We were all at completely different areas of the same floor

YOU MUST BOOK SWIMMING! We did this by telephone prior to arrival. Surprise surprise they had no record of this and they were unable to accommodate our party at any time on that day. We did eventually get to swim - after an hour of discussion with the duty manager - but the next day, after our checkout time. Six incredibly disappointed children (and adults) on our hands...

Dinner - buffet style, didn't expect too much, food was okay for what it was. Service - AWFUL! Booked in advance for 12 people, you would think the table would be ready, but no. Shown to a table, set for 4 people, and told we we would all have to sit separately - is this okay? We replied "no, it is not, can the tables be moved together?". Lady replied, "do what you like" and walked off, leaving us to manouver the table ourselves.

Dinner done, back to the room to put the kids to bed. Pulled out the pull out bed to find no bedding what so ever, even though we had paid for three children in our room! Another phone call to reception and waiting for the bedding to be bought up. Member of staff dropped it off at the door, leaving us to make up the bed ourselves.

Bed was possibly the worst I have ever slept on (same comments from the other two couples in our party).

All in all, an awful experience. Do not waste your money on this place. We have taken our kids here in the past and had an "okay" experience. Staff now though, could not give a monkeys about your stay. Avoid at all costs!

We loved this hotel!!

There was so much to do for children and our three year old loved every bit of it.

We stayed in a theme room and it didn’t disappoint. The room was very spacious and I loved that the kids part was slightly separate to the adults section. The kids had bunk beds, their own tv and PlayStation and a Lego table and board for them to play with.

There was also a secret safe that we had to follow the clues and break the safe code to receive a present. Our 3 year old loved this and was so excited. He received a bag, flask, duplo as well as other little bits.

I loved that the lifts were all themed too and talked as you travelled between the floors.

Breakfast was lovely in the morning and you could order of he menu as well as the other buffet options.

There was so much to do for the children that he didn’t want to come home.

We will definitely visit again in the future!

from the minute you walk through the door the excitement starts with the dragon ad then as you enter the reception you see the brick pits. When going to your room in the lift ollie the dragon talks to you and as you reach each floor it plays you a tune.in the bedroom it is magical which lego in every corner and the treasure hunt in the room.we had one issue with the safe where it wouldn't open so I went down to reception and they gave us a lego gift and then someone came up to fix it and we got the gift out of that too.we have booked to go back in may for my sisters birthday.

We have just spent the night on Friday 22nd December for a Santa sleepover package. I've never written a review before but felt compelled to write one for the first time ever! I cannot fault this hotel. We had a truly magical time from start to finish. From the moment we walked into the amazing reception area we felt we had stepped into something special. We had booked a basic adventure room which has amazing theming and I thought was the perfect choice for our 3 year old girl and 7 year old boy. They had a separate sleeping area with bunk beds (and extra pull out bed underneath for a 3rd child). The maim sleeping area was spacious enough with loads of Lego made decorations throughout. There was a treasure chest in the room with a Lego monkey guarding it and the children had to answer a quiz in order to gain access. Inside was a small Lego set for each child! There was also a tub of Lego to play with. We hadn't been there 5 minutes and we had a Christmas card slipped under the door from the hotel staff- it was lovely touches like this that added to the experience. We spent the evening down in the entertainment area where the kids had frequent opportunities to meet lego Santa and Ollie the dragon. They were entertained all evening by the elves, as well as a Lego play area and a PlayStation area for the older kids. A slide area and skating rink outside was an unexpected bonus. We are in the skyline bar on the first evening so that we could be back out by the stage - the food was excellent and I felt not too pricey at all. Every staff member I met were absolutely brilliant - nothing was too much trouble and they were all so kind to the children. I've never stayed here before however for a Santa sleepover I don't think you can fault it for the price. Thank you

Excellent rooms very comfortable with tea and coffee making facilities.
The evening all you can eat buffet is extra but the all you can eat breakfast is included there is a wide selection with gluten free food as well. The park is a very short out of the hotel.
