Good food, attentive service. A bit far from Maidenhead town center. I would come back if in the area again next time.

Dinner for 2.
Excellent pappadums and chutneys.
I had 2.
Lamb chops - tasty and tender. Well charred but only on the fat.
Meat very good.
Butter chicken, king prawn, mushroom rice and aloo - all good and excellent fast service.
Prices not the cheapest - but I was happy to pay.
One of the best around.
I have visited Indian more times than I can count and the biggest difference is that the bread in India is at a whole other level of freshness. The Emperor is my favourite local Indian as the roti is thin, crisp and fresh as it should be. The dishes have the right amount of fat, not greasy, but spicey, tasty and fresh. This place is excellent on all the above at a price a little above a take-away but so worth it. Staff are great, friendly and welcoming.
We were 25 of us on business trip, had booked 3 tables , ordered veg amd non veg food, very less quantity of starters and very expensive, no value for money , staff rude and no smile, since saw good review had booked for business dinner, other guests were disturbrd due to team noise. Place very cramped and terrible service. Preordered starters and main course and drinks on the go.
Starters portion too less and main course curries served without naan bread for long time and had to wait long time.
Please not recommended for business. Food average, and staff unfriendly.
