We called ahead to book our table for 9 which included 5 children. We were welcomed warmly into the pub and served promptly with drinks. Only one apple juice available for the table and alternatives had to be chosen. Unfortunately a fussy 10year old couldn’t be accommodated with a scrambled egg instead of a fried egg to accompany his ham and chips. Apparently the chef wasn’t prepared to push the boat out that far for a £200 bill on a quiet Tuesday evening. However... everyone enjoyed their meals and we totally recommend the pies for the hungry! Delicious with lots of veggies, chips and gravy... a big thumbs up for that :)
